Another Great Varied Week of Music in Glasgow.

There is a nice mix of old and new music happening this week in Glasgow. We have a couple of amps and a Fender Jazz bass going to The Admiral Bar for Kevin McDermott shows on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. It's been 30 years since the seminal mother Nature’s Kitchen was released and the intimate venue is sure to be full of fans of the album and everything McDermott has released since. From one generation to the next we have a hire from the new Glasgow band the Kaves. The released their debut single ‘Migraine” earlier this year and we are really enjoying the guitar driven track. They are hiring a Fender Hotrod for their gig on Thursday night. We look forward to hearing more of their music in the future.

We have two full backlines out this Saturday with one going out to the Hilton for Radio Clyde’s Cash for Kids lunch. The event is part of the charities mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people affected by poverty, illness and neglect. Collectively Cash for Kids raised over £19.2 million across the UK in 2020, supporting 396,639 children. Soul and Funk nine piece band Big Vern & the Shootahs will be leading up the event. We also have a full backline going to the Academy for 48 hour party people. A line up featuring the best britpop cover bands including Definitely Oasis, The Complete Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scheme, Happy Mondaze and Gary Cinnamon. Some absolute excellent names to say the least.

We also have our newest DJ Gear including the Pioneer CDJ 3000s and Pioneer DJM V-10 once again going out to SWG3 on Friday and Saturday. On Friday American DJ, record producer and remixer DJ MK will take to the Galvanisers stage and on Saturday the iconic Glitterbox night comes to Glasgow featuring performances from Dimitri from Paris, Artwork, The Shapeshifters and more.
