Celtic Connection 29th Year, Drumcode at Terminal V, and GOK Wan DJ Set.
Celtic Connections 2022 began earlier this month and we are delighted to see it back. We are supplying hires to quite a few of the shows on over the festival that runs from 20th January to the 6th February. Now in its 29th year, the festival is one of the music highlights of the year showcasing an outstanding array of traditional folk, celtic, roots, Americana, jazz, soul and world music.
The festival welcomes an array of international artists, whilst also celebrating homegrown and up-and-coming talent. Some of this years’ performers include Dublin-based quartet The Jeremiahs, flute / whistle genius Brian Finnegan, world-folk sensations Dallahan, Nordic-inspired folk group Stundom and Gaelic singer Megan Henderson plus much much more. Check out the Celtic Connections website for the full line up.
This weekend we also have DJ gear going out to both Glasgow and Ediburgh. The team at Terminal V are teaming up with Adam Beyer to bring his legendary label and event brand DRUMCODE to Scotland for the 1st time in over a decade. An all-star techno line-up including Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, ANNA, Bart Skills, Ben Klock, Joel Mull and Layton Giordani. The event opens at 6 and runs until 2am. We’ll be supplying the DJ gear for the party.
On Satuday we have more DJ gear to SWG3 where renowned fashion-guru, much loved DJ and all-round national treasure, Gok Wan brings his Isolation Nation party out of the home and onto the dancefloor. What started as a series of live streams to lift spirits during lockdown, will now find itself at Glasgow SWG3. With a feel-good soundtrack of your favourite club classics, bespoke production and guests including Angel Lee, DJ Leroy Fish, Roscoe Brothers and Tom Langur.
